My Opinion

I would highly recommend not to diet at all. There are 2 main reasons for me being against dieting:
  1. You Live Just Once - Its your life and you should enjoy every moment of it. Starving or forbidding yourself from eating your favorite food is a terrible thing and it can also lead to stress and depression. You should eat whatever gives you happiness.
  2. Don't Regret Afterwards - I have seen people avoiding eating desserts because they wanted to lose weight. Their plan was to eat their favorite desserts after losing those unwanted pounds. Then the worst thing happened as they got diagnosed with Diabetes. Now even if they want, they can't eat desserts.
